A new pen is always challenges you to bring out something hidden component in you! So, I tried and tested on this hotpressed 100%cotton cardstock with Faber-Castell Pitt BrushPens and I really loved the way it turned out. I wonder, why I haven’t used it much?
When you have little time in hand, and not much energy! This piece is from a week, post my trip from USA.
October 2018 was a dream come true experience! I traveled to United States, for only, purposeful reason, was to meet RickRoberts and MariaThomas, the duo-couple behind the Zentangle! My husband, my kid and family are my backbone and they are the reason behind my individual choice and decision. On 28th October, morning, I reached the grand Providence Biltmore Hotel and I was very affectionately welcomed by the former Teachers. My friend Terri, traveled an hour, just to meet me. And she took me around the downtown. We had heart-to heart conversation all through those hours. At evening 4pm, our first Zentangle Seminar -32 commenced!
I met the most wonderful people in there. I think tears and laughter were the most common experience and outcome throughout the time in the Zentangle Seminar. Each one carried a deep resounding story to the seminar, which time and again we kept listening and also cheered each other. We tanglers found a venue of sharing and caring, communicate our emotions to our heart contentment through the beautiful miniature zentangle artworks we created. It was a four days of celebration, embracing Zentangle by thought, word and deed. It was a very purposeful event, and also it gave us an opportunity to tell it to the world that such kind of art exists still deeply into this world. I know, that I made few friends from the seminar who are going to stay with me for lifetime. Attending the Teacher Training Seminar wasn’t just an achievement award, but it was a soulful journey through the beautiful Zentangle Method of drawing; that can be easily translated in the way life has to be lived.
With my best sister friend, Philadelphia!

Just as I had mentioned earlier, I am having Christmas fever this year! :-D
So I made Christmas ornaments and sent it as gift! :)
Winter is here! :-D
So remind your loved ones to wear there overcoats whenever they step-out of home! :-D
And you can get very creative with your zentangle tiles. Like the one I did. I made my Zentile wear its Winter Jacket, to keep it safe and warm from the cold winds that blow all day. I am very inspired by Christmas colours this month. :)

I love experimenting with techniques. So , on basis of trial and error and not waiting for the master-experience over this piece, I just used my #fabercastellpolychromos to create this ZenGem. I am so happy with how it has turned out.
Let me know in the comment section, if you really liked this piece and want to see more of it.
As I am drawing this piece, I am remembering my pregnancy and post delivery days.
I was first among my friends to get married, and soon after I was expecting. I was thrilled and happy with the news; had absolutely no fear of this life-changing experience because I wanted it so badly! I was very young and just didn't know anything about raising a small kid. Most people said, I was a "kid" myself!!!😁😆 But I was determined, that I will figure it out. And next nine months was the journey of loving and waiting for the Lord's amazing creation to happen through me and I wondered how, the body has its own intelligence to create a human kind in that little womb space! Mind-blowing!! And then after months of waiting, the little wonder turned into reality. Each day and night, I would love, eat, feed, finish my chores and back to love, feed, eat! Along the way, I was figuring out on how to take care of the growing baby! I never realized that I was losing on sleep, days, weeks, months, again and again the same thing. I was excited that it is happening in Reality, in the Now!!!
This is exactly I am learning on this drawing. I am so enjoying as I am engaging in this process. As I go, I am figuring out tangles, new ways to keep it going.... Also, like I took care of my baby and toddler, today I am completing all my day chores, talk and speak funny with my kid, watch one tv show with hubby n her, put her to bed and finally sit with drawing! Days are passing by so quickly, and all I am focused is just on the next BIG TASK, and give my complete attention to it!!! #feelingaccomplished #zenfeeling
Off lately, I have been having very rough weeks, to an extent that it has been hard to squeeze in time for drawing and come out with new ideas. Most times, I mentally give notes to myself, but nothing gets done! Yet, I am pushing myself to try and keep up my rhythm, even if it challenges me to work in certain shift timings.
So just to pep up myself, I thought of challenging to try tangling using #EmbeddedLetters as a Technique. In my past, I have not been so very successful with this form. But today, I feel, I have nailed it rightly and this brought million smiles to me.
I have, kind a strange relationship with Zentangle, as all these months, didn't realize that what I do here, is solely my journey and the world out has nothing to do with it. So now, I have to spread my wings and discover more territories, and see if I can squeeze in (atleast for a while)!
To my new dawn!! ❤️🙏🏼
Initial used here are my sister's first and last name.
Recently, I took up a little project for myself. I wanted to Tangle in a different dimension and style, keeping Zentangle Method in mind - that says "No need of planning". So with minimum help of strings, I started tangling on the Round Zendala Tiles. I have sent few of these tiles to San Diego through my husband. Hoping to receive some happy feedback from the receivers. :)
