New Announcement - Zentangle Journaling

Zentangle Journaling dated, April 2018

Zentangle Journaling dated, April 2018

Two weeks ago, I was glancing at my many sketchbooks, Zentangle Journal, that are stacked neatly now on my new rack. While turning the pages up and down, I could look in my past-self, where I heavily tangled on the different sizes of journal. Some are filled with just Black and White, others with some colors, few with watercolors; some for aesthetic beauty tried different string designs, some pages were filled with new ideas; few pages that went in wrong direction thus left way, etc. It was fun experimenting. At times, I used to over think looking at the blank pages and thus, left it empty; unable to decided what to do next…..Journals are always full of experiments. Yet, when I see someone putting out their beautiful journal copies; I would feel strange that what am I missing in it. Is it the ideas that went wrong way or something else?

It is been almost a year since I took out my journal and gave my try on it. At times, for fun I would start with a page or two, but then I stop working on it. It was no more fun to do it all alone! I began to tell myself, that I am not a journal person (as though there is pronoun for it). I stopped stacking books, afraid to see the empty pages in there.

It has taken me sometime to understand that, I would enjoy a journal if I am doing it alone. I can tangle on little tiles and even on somewhat bigger piece on my own, but Art Journaling requires some kind of ‘ritualistic experience’. It is in slow and consistent pace, but remarkably effective when we want to see our past journey all compiled into few pages! So what if, I do enjoy Journaling alongside with everyone else? Are you too like me who enjoys creating art alongside with your buddies? Do you too have half-filled journal/sketch books?

If Yes, hear me out what I announce in the next,

So, with this thought, here, I am launching the first ever Zentangle Art Journaling Videos on my Tangle and Inspire Youtube Channel.
