Tangle Liberty Fan on an alpha string!

I had fun exploring the Tangle Liberty Fan, deconstructed by CZT® Connie Green is a lovely grid tangle pattern.

Liberty Fan has a slight touch of Tangle Cadent variation or Tangleation®, as it touches the triangle version of the cadent shown in one of the project pack series from Zentangle HQ.

Basic Step-Out of Tangle Liberty Fan

A few months ago, I had filmed this tangle for my YouTube buddies. Apparently, I did not find the time or inclination to explore it more; so I listed it down in my Idea Book for some good days!

On one of the FB groups, the prompt was to use the alphabet ‘A’ as a string. Since I have played with Caps A too many times; I thought why not try the small letter ‘a’? I explored them on my Rectangle Zentile (inspired by Phi Zentile® from Zentangle HQ).

So, on the left, I drew a Liberty Fan (Variation). And on my right, I tangled Printemp Variation. The alpha string was decorated with simple tangles like shattuck, mooka and orbs.

You can see some more variations on my Menorah’s Square Sketchbook. The one I am using is about 15coms in size.

I have used simple scholar level Camlin colour pencils roughly to show different parts of this tangle.

If you intend to purchase this book, I shall share my reviews of this sketchbook in detail in my next blogs.
