Oct - Nov - Dec 2019
I truly have so many stories to share and update. Day to day we as family went through so many good and bad ordeals. My husband was looking for job, and he already had few choices in hand, yet uncertainty prevailed. I had been working back to back from July second week onwards, trying to reach to most of the Delhi Gurgaon audience, along with my already scheduled online classes from other cities. Things slowed down in Sept 2019, maybe its exam time or something else, but then once Deepavali 2019 was done, my work and projects got bigger and better. More and more people I connected and so I totally enjoyed each and every turn of this zing!
I was very much looking forward to spending Deepavali 2019, and my sister was also visiting the town and staying with us for a week. I chilled a week before Deepavali, spent hefty amount of time in deep cleaning my house, decorating my front room with small artworks and then the yummy sweet dishes. Aah, by the way, October had my birthday as well, so we enjoyed yummy cake gifted to me by my mom and sister and another one was from me to me!😊😉 My mother always says ocassion is all about enjoying in little or big way. Deepavali hols we celebrated in a gala way, invited my bestie and we had lunch together followed by 2 hours of Rummy game. Kids enjoyed in their own ways too. Here are some pics of the Deepavali 2019. :)
So after Deepavali, my art progresses begun. I was preparing for my upcoming workshop, and my husband got his job confirmation. It was such a happy news and on the other side, I signed up for a Dec Flea Market Event with @Sanghini Group of Delhi to host my art exhibit. This was my first art exhibit and I was really so excited about it. I knew I had very less time and I had more work to do, so from November 10th onwards I worked daily for 11 hours a day in drawing, painting, designing and other media works. So for the next weeks carried on with this new schedule of work, alongwith online/private classes. One of the best ways I coped up with daily time pressure and work was drink plenty of water, eat handful of assorted nuts, eat on time and sleep for 7 hours daily. Thus, frankly though the work flow was too much, with absolutely no hols, my inner and outer rhythm was maintained. I called my mother to Delhi to assist me in the first week of December. So on 8th Dec 2019, we trio (mum, me and my kid Akshara) hired a car and loaded all the 10 small and big items, including easels, stands, boards, and headed off to the site. At the exhibition, my daughter too exhibited her artworks like bookmarks, a handmade card and she was so natural in talking to people. I am so thankful to mum for her full-support pre exhibition and on the day of exhibition. In all, we had a wonderful experience and yummy food.
Some pics from the exhibition:
So much after December 2019, I am almost on break, winter has picked up in Delhi and my kid had a winter carnival party on 15th Dec and we stayed whole day in the school ground till the show got over. She participated in two talent exhibit. She sung her favourite Let it go from the Frozen, that I think was so melodious and played Kongo instrument for the first time. And now, we are just few days before Christmas and winter break here. I have some more updates, but it too can wait for few more days, although I admit I am excited to share!
